A man has set himself on fire at the Nobel Peace Centre, reported Oslo police on twitter.
The police were notified of the incident at 10:12am this morning, said operations manager Christian Krohn Engeseth of Oslo police.
– The man had lit a t-shirt on fire, then pulled it off, according to the information we got, said Krohn Engeseth.
When police arrived at the site the the fire was extinguished. The man was full of soot and had a burn on his chest, and was sent to the emergency room for treatment, said Operations Officer.
– What do you know about this man?
– We know that he is a refugee, and he is dissatisfied with the institution of asylum and long waits for asylum applications.
