Masked robbers bound store employees with adhesive tape

On Wednesday night three masked assailants  threatened two store employees in the electronics store Siba on Liertoppen  and also bound them with adhesive tape.

– The men were carrying knives and through the use of threats they made the employees go back into the store. After they had done that, the robbers bound the employees with adhesive tape.

The robbers stayed a while in the store, took  some items from the store and left  the same way they came in,  Kjell Reidar Johansen,  leader of operations in South East police told TV2 news.

The robbers stayed about 20 minutes in the store, while the staff was lying on the floor, bound  with adhesive tape. It is unclear what they took from the store. No one was physically injured.

The robbers were reportedly speaking in a foreign language, possibly Arabic,  Johnsen continues.

The police are now looking through the recordings of the security cameras and looking for a beige Volkswagen which may belong to the perpetrators.The police want tips on the case.
