Hauglie forecasts a more mobile Nav -To make it easier for users of Nav in the future, the organization will to a much greater extent seek them out at home or in the workplace, tells the Work Minister Anniken Hauglie.

The changes are part of the government’s Nav plan, to be implemented over the coming months, the newspaper VG.

‘Nav will meet you where you are. You will see a more mobile Nav, that is not tied to the office. Nav will be traveling out to users and the workplace, and they’ll download the full paraphernalia to your tablet or PC’, explained Hauglie.

She pointed out that if ‘Olga’ has difficulties with walking, or if ‘Karl’ has social anxiety, Nav will seek them out at home.

The scheme is already underway at the Nav office in Lillehammer / Gausdal Oppland. There, Nav employees already drive cars out to employers and users. Each month, the office is in contact with 150-200 employers.

The Work Minister seeks to strengthen Nav’s presence on new digital platforms.
‘We will increase the use of chat channels and social media to support the site. Those who need personal meetings with Nav employees will still get them’, assures Anniken Hauglie.
