The nine people who were arrested after the shooting incident in Lørenskog Thursday night, have been released. None of them have the status as a suspect.

– We no longer suspect them to be perpetrators. This is based on the examination of witnesses and questioning of those arrested, said police prosecutor Åse Kjustad Eriksson in Eastern Police District to Aftenposten.

The nine who have been released are Norwegian-Pakistanis in their 20s and acquaintance of the police. All were charged with gross armament in a public place.

Police are working on finding out who was behind the shooting, said Eriksson.
