No one seriously injured after gas leak in Oslo

Six people have been taken to hospital after a gas leak in a building at Filipstad in Oslo. It is not known what kind of gas leaked or where it came from.

The police were notified of the leak by Joh. Johansson coffee at Filipstad at 10:04am.

– Two people fainted, but have come out of the building. Two people are sick, stated Operations Gjermund Stokkli of Oslo police.

At 10:45am police informed that six people were taken to hospital, and that 51 people have been evacuated.

– None of the six show signs of severe damage, but they should be examined to find out what they’ve got in their systems, says operations manager Bjørn Sveen.
