The tight economy of the police makes it so that a number of police services must be cut. The lack of money is affecting the police guard in Greenland in Oslo.

The day manned police guard at the police station in Greenland is going to be closed during the evenings and at night throughout the week, writes Police Forum.

– As it looks now, after 19, there will be no open police guards throughout Oslo. It is quite dramatic. Then, only 112 inquiries will be of concern. I understand that this is done because of the economy, but for the public it is not good, says Kristin Aga, head of the Oslo police union.
Haga says, indeed, that the employer does what it demands by being clear about what you cannot prioritize. The positive thing is that the decision could lead to more cops on the street, she says.
– But we are worried, stressed Aga.
