Norway will establish forum for preventing climate change

Damages caused by extreme weather has become more common. A separate forum will now look at what needs to be done to stem the problems in the wake of climate change.

The news will be launched on the Nordic climate change conference on Monday which will be opened by the Climate and Environment Minister Vidar Helgesen.

– He is going to launch a national forum for climate, environment and urban development between the state and cities. The first meeting will be climate change as its theme. It’s a theme he also this summer have discussed with a network of American cities, said communications director, Jon Berg, of Climate and Environment Ministry (KMD) to NTB.

Adaptation conference is a meeting place for politicians, researchers and industry. The biennial event, and this year they meet in Bergen to look at climate change in the Nordic region and what can and must be done.

    Another example of Canute trying to stop the tide – the difference being they are wasting taxpayers money doing it.
