One person stabbed in Jessheim

One person was stabbed during a scuffle at Jessheim in Ullensaker municipality in Akershus on Thursday night but escaped the incident without any serious injuries.

He seems to have gotten some  superficial cuts,  operations manager Gunnar Bjanes in Eastern Police District said to the newspaper Romerikes Blad.

Police first received notification that the man had been stabbed in the back and neck, but it turned out that the injuries were not as serious as feared. The alleged offender, an 18-year-old, was arrested on the spot.
– The arrested have been taken to jail. The victim and witnesses will be questioned. According to people we have spoken to he was injured in a scuffle in a parking lot at Trondheimsveien Jessheim where up to six people were fighting , says operational manager to news agency NTB.
The police was notified of the incident at 18.24.
