The Democratic party with Vidar Kleppe receive a support of 7.6 percent in a poll in Kristiansand. It’s more than the Progressive Party gets.

The Progressive Party receives 5.8 percent in the measurement performed for VG and Fædrelandsvennen.

Both Vidar Kleppe, who sits in the city council for the Democrats, and Frp’s group leader Stian Storbukås point to the toll battle as the reason why one party has gone forward and the other back.

Progressive Party is spreading in all directions. “It doesn’t help that they scream locally at tolls, when the party has the finance minister, minister of transport, and parliamentary group that sets the world record in tolls every day,” Klepp told VG.

The poll also shows a clear bourgeois majority in the southern village, with the Conservatives as the largest party.
