Powerful fire in the new middle school on Smøla

Part of Smøla middle school on Dyrnes in Smøla in Møre and Romsdal county have collapsed. The school has been ablaze for most of Monday morning on fire, but the the fire department now has the fire under control

The fire department was notified of the fire at 6:08 on Monday morning. According to police, there was a severe fire and the flames had popped through the roof.
Smøla fire departments started extinguishing the fire from the outside, but consider one wing of the school  lost.
The school is shaped like a horseshoe, and the wing considered lost is the one that houses the administration. The size of this is approximately 300 square meters,  operations manager Rolf Anders Korstad by og Romsdal Police said to NRK news.
The cause of the fire is as yet unknown.
