Immigration Minister Sylvi Listhaug has to put the resources of both corporations and non-governmental agencies to good use in order to achieve a good everyday integration, according to the advice from the Red Cross.
– We challenge Listhaug to come up with more specific plans for facilitating for the business community and the volunteers in a simple way to contribute to the integration, said Red Cross president Sven Mollekleiv.
He had invited immigration and integration minister to a meeting held on  Wednesday  and among the other participants were several representatives of the business community .
Among them were Knut Hartvig Johannson and Torbjorn Johannson from the family business Joh. Johannson, who owns the Norges Group. They had brought a check of 25 million for integration efforts of Red Cross.
– It is important to focus more of the attention on the integration and how to succeed. We need a positive interaction between government, business and the voluntary, Mollekleiv mantains and enumerates the flexible arrangements with internships, better language teaching and making use of the qualifications of asylum seekers as  criteria for success.
The president of Red Cross gave Listhaug the following advice:
– Get in and bring forward the good examples. Talk more about the things that are good and that are working and do not just focus on the problems, says Mollekleiv.
