Retirees will receive their pension slips in the mail, if they wish. In addition, the distance for how far away the passport office can be may be changed.

It is among the simplicities of the revised national budget agreement that the KrF and the government parties presented on Thursday.

– Anyone who needs a new passport these days has noticed the queue to get an appointment, and many have long journeys. KrF has now reached the conclusion that the distance to the nearest passport office should be a maximum 45 minutes away for 90 percent of the inhabitants of each police district and not 60 minutes as the government added, KrF’s fiscal spokesman Kjell Ingolf Ropstad says.
