School and education is by far the most important issue for voters, according to a survey conducted for NRK news one year before the general election.
In the survey, which Norstat conducted, 27 per cent responded to this field as most important to them. Then followed 18 percent on healthcare, 17 percent on environmental, climate issues and immigration both had 16 percent.
– An important challenge for the parties, if they are to maintain interest, is to get new angles, form new arguments and engagement around issues that concern voters in their election campaigns. this approach gets votes as far back as I can remember, said election researcher Bernt Aardal to NRK news.
