Siv Jensen brought to tears during the 50th birthday celebration

Fremskrittsparti (Frp) leader Siv Jensen turns 50 on June 1, but already by Saturday the congratulations came pouring in. She even cried and thundered against socialists.

The new Norwegian Minister of the Interior, Sylvi Listhaug, was among those who praised Jensen during the party’s national dinner wrote Dagbladet newspaper.

‘’Dear Siv, we are so fond of you. I first became acquainted with you at
Granavolden, and my God, what a lady,’’ said Listhaug.

The party leader was hailed by political opponents, other party members, Prime Minister, Erna Solberg of Høyre (H) and family members. Jensen also received a travel gift card of NOK 4,000 from the party, just below the tax limit. A touched and weeping Jensen thanked everybody for the tributes before she urged fellow party members to ready themselves for battle before the September elections.

‘’This must be the best kick off in the world. It’s just about folding up your sleeves, thundering out and crushing those damn socialists’’ she said.

‘’We know that polls are polls, elections are elections, and on September the 9th we are going to show them all, together. Stop messing with us,’’ Jensen said to applause from party colleagues.

    You probably mean “polls are polls” and “elections are elections” instead of using measurements and choices. You should really take a look at your grammar.
