The mayor of Sandnes, Stanley Wirak, is delighted that the strip club Money Talks finally had their request for a liquor license denied in the Supreme Court. – The Strip town of Sandnes is history, he writes on Facebook.

Friday the Supreme Court’s Appeals Committee ruled to reject the appeal of the strip club, writes Stavanger Aftenblad.  This means that a  several years long court battle have finally come to end.

The controversy started when the municipality refused the club liquor license as a result of stripping operations, a decision that has been appealed all the way to the top of the judicial system. Both the district court and the appellate court said the decision was legal.”And now the Supreme Court as well has ruled that we make the decisions in our own city! The strip town of Sandnes is history! And we have shown that we have to take up the fight for what we believe in! ” mayor Stanley Wirak writes on Facebook.
