Suicide attacks against mosque in Kabul

At least 27 people, according to Afghan police were killed and over 35 wounded in a suicide attack against a Shiite mosque in Kabul.

According to Afghan news agency, Tolo News, the suicide bomber triggered the explosive charge inside Baqir-ul-Olum Mosque, located in Char Qala area west of Kabul.
According to the head of the criminal police in Kabul, Faraidon Obaidi, children were among those killed.

– We have not yet determined whether there were women in there when the suicide bomber blew himself up, he says.
According to Obaidi, the suicide bomber was alone and wearing a bomb vest as he detonated after mixing with the people who prepared the Shiite Arba ceremony inside the mosque.
