A teenage boy from Ringsaker has been sentenced to 60 days suspension for shooting threats via the phone app Jodel against Ringsaker high school last fall.

“Judgement has been passed,” writes newspaper Hamar Arbeiderblad.
On 19th November last year, the boy put forth a threat via Jodel that ‘there will be shooting at school on Monday.’ The message was posted anonymously, but police tracked down the sender. The boy confessed shortly after.
In addition to the threats, the boy was convicted of having been involved in two incidents of violence and drug use. The sentence was suspended because the boy is sentenced to undergo a follow-up program organized by the Mediation one year ahead of time.
Several threats aimed at schools have been sent via the German mobile app Jodel lately.
