Ten have died in occupational accidents so far this year

Ten people have died in accidents while they were at work so far this year. There are as many as at the same time last year.

It is the journal Fri Freedom Movement which has summarized occupational accidents so far in 2018.

The survey shows that five out of the ten have died in traffic accidents or injuries associated with work. Two farmers died, one because he got a heavy object on top of him, the other when the tractor he drove rolled over. A Latvian citizen died whilst working in a tank aboard the Nordstar trawler which was on his way to Ålesund in June.

In February, an employee at the ski resort of Gaustablikk died in an accident whilst working with snowmobiles on the ski slopes. In May, an employee died at wotk at the train station  Mantena in Lodalen .

So far this year, no people employee have lost their lives at work either in aviation nor in the oil industry.
