The municipalities have now agreed to settle over 15,000 refugees this year.
Last week, the municipalities  made resolutions to accept 480 more refugees in total, according to new figures from the Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDi), according to the magazine Kommunal Rapport.
The municipalities have now agreed to 81 percent of the figure IMDi has requested for this year.
Most of the refugees who have not been accepted are minors. The municipalities have only said yes to 1876 of the 4631  refugees who are minors applying for residence in Norway.
