It burned on Monday morning in Nav at Enebakk in Akershus. Two men were arrested, suspected of arson.

‘’Immediate investigations at the site led us to conclude that the fire had been deliberately started and two men were arrested’’ said
operational manager, Ronny Samuelsen of the Eastern Police District to NTB news at 02.47. He did not want to give more details about the suspects.

The fire department was notified of the fire at 00.25 and were on site with the first patrol 12 minutes later. Just before 00.06 it still burns,
but the danger of it spreading was over.

“We have control of the fire, but it is a large building, and we will probably keep on damping it down for much of the day” said Frode Johannessen of East 110 central to NTB.

In addition to Nav, the Family Housing Office is situated in the same building.

At 02.39 the emergency services were notified of another fire in Enebakk, in a detached house in Hammerenveien. Everyone who lived in the detached house got out by themselves.

The police do not suspect that there is a connection between the fires. At the second fire too, the fire service expected that the closure would take time.
