Two men and a woman charged with murder in Southern Norway

Two men in their 20s and 30s and a woman in her 40s, all belonging to the Northern Norway, are arrested and charged with the murder of Nils Olav Bakken (49) in Oppland in September.

None of those arrested have connections to drug environment, enlightened police at a news conference Tuesday afternoon.

The arrest of the three happened without drama and they were arrested by the police at once. All three are Norwegians and domiciled in Dokka.

Police Attorney Kristian Johansen from Inland Police district would not comment on how in detail these three been arrested.

– There remains a great deal of investigation, said Johansen at the press conference.
The three will be questioned by police during the afternoon and evening.

The charges apply to intentional murder and complicity in murder.

Nils Olav Bakken was found dead and severely burned by a forest road on Veståsen in Southern Norway on Saturday September 3rd. There were two hikers who found him.

The body was partially charred and left close to a campfire.

It should also have been found remnants of what has been used as detonating devices, which police have so far not been willing to comment.
