A woman has been arrested on suspicion of ordered the killing of his former Norwegian boyfriend on the Spanish holiday island of Gran Canaria.
The woman and the man she has hired to kill her ex-boyfriend, were both arrested by police in Puerto Rico town in southwest of the island on September 19th, writes Canaria Journalen, citing newspaper La Provincia.
It was Norwegian man himself who became suspicious and contacted police. Woman would according to the newspaper have inherited several properties and a hotel business at the businessman’s death.
The police have heard a conversation in which the woman offered the money to carry out the murder, which he should have accepted. They are both charged with having planned murder.
The woman should be from Ecuador, while the man who would kill her boyfriend is from Colombia. The two were arrested in a crackdown that police refer to as Operation Santa Barbara.
