Valon and Veton Berisha have informed the national team that they want to represent Norway.
Per Mathias Høgmo informed reporters at Ullevaal stadium after Monday’s national withdrawals. Both Berisha brothers are included in the squad with Belarus (private Super bowl) and Germany (World Cup Qualifiers).
They have had the opportunity to select national team play for Kosovo. The country recently received approval as a sovereign nation by the International Football Federation (FIFA).
Brothers from Rogaland had chosen the latter before and they could not later have chosen to play for Norway again.
– They have decided by themselves otherwise I would not have taken them. They have great motivation to play for Norway, says Høgmo.
– I have the greatest respect for which was not an easy decision therefore I have been cautious to push but they have even come and say they want to contribute, continues Høgmo.
Valon Berisha playing for Salzburg in Austria. Greuther Furth in 2 and Bundesliga club is the one Veton Berisha playing for.
