Manchester United and Liverpool matches in the football Champions League will not be shown on “open” TV channels next week.
Liverpool versus Porto will be shown on Tuesday on TV 2 Sport 1. Manchester United versus Barcelona will be played on Wednesday and shown on Viasport 1.
‘’In order to exploit our rights in the best possible way, we constantly evaluate how these matches are distributed on our platforms. In the autumn, several matches were broadcast in the group stage of the
UEFA Champions League, which had to be distributed on different platforms than they are now in the playoffs.
Therefore, the matches played now are distributed on Viasport channels and Viaplay (streaming service) said press contact, Lene Forfang Paterson of NENT Group to NTB news.
Tottenham versus Manchester City (Tuesday) will be shown on Viasport 1. Ajax versus Juventus (Wednesday) will be shown on TV 2 Sport 1.
