The Norwegian handball men team will start the Championship in France with Poland.

On Thursday Norway has been assigned to Group A along with Poland, Russia, France, Brazil and Japan for the Handball World Cup in 2017.

The Norwegian team had Poland and France in their group at the European Championships last winter too which Norway won against both teams.

It has been defined on Friday that Norway will start the group stage in France with Poland on January 12th, then follows Russia two days later and finally Norway play with the host of the games, France, on January 15th. Two days after the game with France, Norway will face Brazil and Japan waiting in the last group match on January 19th.

Eight semi Finalists will play on 20th and 21st of January. Quarter finalist will plays on January 24th and the semifinals are planned for 26th and 27th of January, while the entire championship ends with bronze match and final game respectively on 28th and 29rh of January.
