For the first time since 2013, it’s going to be a packed stadium during Thursday’s Bislett Games.

General organiser, Steinar Hoen announced on Tuesday morning that there were only 800 available tickets of the total of 15,400 that a full Bislett entails.

“There are only 800 tickets left for the event, and we have to return to Usain Bolt’s years from 2011 to 2013 to find the last time it was sold out. The interest this time is greater than that, Hoen said during Tuesday’s press meeting at Hotel Opera in Bjørvika, Oslo.

Sprinter, Usain Bolt, is perhaps the biggest athletics icon that has ever lived after he won the World Championship in London last season. Bolt created mood and enthusiasm no matter where he competed.

Not least, there was a great deal of interest in front of the Bislett Games in 2012, when it was settled for duel between him and countryman, Asafa Powell.

“We are in front of the 2012 form. If it goes smoothly, it will be a full house already by Tuesday. It is very positive,’’ Hoen concluded.

Norwegian athletics are in the running, and there are many who can claim themselves a part of this.

“It’s the Norwegian superheroes and wonderful spring weather that made this possible,” Hoen said.

Karsten Warholm, Isabelle Pedersen, Karoline Bjerkeli Grøvdal and the brothers Henrik, Filip and Jakob Ingebrigtsen have every opportunity to make themselves the top of their sports.

Approximately 200 athletes from a total of 47 nations will participate during this year’s Diamond League meeting in Oslo. The TV rights are sold to 163 nations.
