Peter Prevc concluded the World Cup weekend with a super jump of 249 meters. With that jump, the Slovenian won the second time in a row.
“I realizeds that I would fly far, but waited a little too long with the landing. I am really happy with the jumping here in Vikersund,” said Prevc right after the competition.
Stefan Kraft from Austria was number two, while Stjernen jumped 231 meters in the second round and took third place in the last World Cup competition.
Norway had a superb result as a team, with five in the top eight.
Daniel Andre Tande (242 meters) fifth, Kenneth Gangnes (248.5 meters) sixth, Johann Andre Forfang (243.5 meters) seventh and Anders Fannemel eigth.
The legendary Noriaki Kasai jumped 237.5 meters in the second round and landed in tenth place.
