The organizer of X Games has asked to gain access to the surplus of 7.5 million for next year’s X Games at Hafjell.
– For the X Games in 2017 to be implemented without debt, we plan to use the accumulated funds from sponsorship and ticket revenue from 2016, wrote CEO Henning Andersen in a letter to the City parliament.
According to Dagens Næringsliv it was decided that the event is to be moved to the alpine location Hafjell in 2017 because of a lack of political backing in the capital.
Oslo City Council has so far not dealt with the case.
