2019 is a year of high activity in Oslo’s bustling hotel scene. Two hotels opened on Jernbanetorget outside Oslo Central Station earlier this year. On 1 August, Clarion Hotel Oslo opens its doors in the Bjørvika district, between the fashionable Barcode area and the new Munch Museum.
The high-end hotel puts art front and centre with its own art concierge, a gallery and curated exhibitions. Another highlight is a painting by Edvard Munch on loan from the Munch Museum that is on show in the hotel’s lobby. Read more about New hotel in Bjørvika
