Norwegian won the lawsuit against Express Group, Havacilik Egitim Hizmetleri (EAG) in Oslo District Court after they were sued for “customer appraisal’’.

EAG believed Norwegian was running “customer subscriptions’’ when, according to the plaintiff, they broke a contract for the sale of four Boeing 737-300 and two engines wrote E24 news.

EAG were ordered to pay Norwegian’s legal costs of just over NOK 430,000.

The applicant, among other things, believed that Norwegian forced the implementation of the contract, and finally sold the aircraft and engines to EAG’s own customer, BulAir. They demanded NOK 15.5 million from Norwegian airline.

In the judgment of Oslo District Court, it was stated that the court could not see Norwegian “having had real negotiations with BulAir” prior to the expiry date of the agreement. On the contrary, the airline had an interest in having the agreement with AEG implemented
since it gave more profit than the sale to BulAir wrote the court in its decision.

EAG’s lawyer informed E24 that they had had no opportunity to comment on the case.
