Former US Vice President Al Gore will make a sequel to the climate film “An Inconvenient Truth.”
Film company Paramount announced Friday that the sequel will premiere at the important film festival Sundance in January next year.
In the new documentary, Al Gore will look at how global warming has escalated and the what are the possible solutions available.
The protagonist even asked for a renewed effort to solve what he describes as the climate crisis, and he says there is reason to be hopeful.
This week Al Gore met the incoming president Donald Trump to discuss the topic, and he described the meeting as productive.
Only days later designated Trump, Mr. Scott Pruitt as his future climate and environment minister.
Sundance says it will show several films about environmental change and conservation.
