Almost four out of ten Norwegian students believe that their job prospects are worse now than before the corona pandemic started.

According to a new survey, 29% of Norwegian students believe their job prospects are worse. A total of 9% think their prospects look much worse, Universitas writes.

Work-life researcher and NHH professor Kjell Gunnar Salvanes believes that students have a real reason to be worried about their work future.

“What we found in our studies is that those who entered work-life during the downturn had a reduction in wages between 5% and 10% over a long period of time,” Salvanes noted.

Half of the students surveyed believe that their job prospects are the same as before, while 11% think they have improved or are much better.
