122 new confirmed Coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours

At midnight Tuesday, 12,276 Coronavirus infected people were registered in Norway, preliminary figures show. This is an increase of 122 cases in the last 24 hours.

In total, the increase in the last two days is by 197 reported cases, according to figures from the National Reporting System for Infectious Diseases (MSIS).

Nearly 890,000 tests for the Coronavirus have so far been carried out in Norway, according to the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH).

21 Coronavirus patients were admitted to Norwegian hospitals on Monday, five more than before the weekend. This figure is the highest since June 9, figures from the Norwegian Directorate of Health show.

A total of 266 people have now died as a result of the pandemic in Norway. According to FHI, it is not always possible to determine whether a person has died because of the infection or with Covid-19.
