39 new confirmed Coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours

At midnight Monday, 12,897 Coronavirus infected cases were registered in this country, preliminary figures show. This is an increase of 39 cases in the last 24 hours.

In the last two days, the increase is by 128 reported cases, according to figures from the National Reporting System for Infectious Diseases (MSIS).

More than 940,000 tests for Coronavirus have so far been carried out in Norway, according to the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH).

A total of 16 people were receiving treatment at a hospital for Covid-19 disease as of Friday. FHI has registered 267 Coronavirus related deaths in this country since March.

FHI emphasizes that it is not always possible to determine whether the patient has died of or with Covid-19.
