From Friday to Sunday, a total of 346 new corona infection cases were registered in Trondheim. More than half of the newly infected are people in their 20s.
Out of the total, 180 newly infected are men, while 166 are women, the Municipality stated in a press release.
Over half of the cases involve people in their 20s, while just over a quarter of those infected are in their teens.
During the three days, around 3,800 people have been tested for corona in Trondheim.
The increase in infection is not a complete surprise since the Municipality started mass testing 35,000 students last week.
