Although daily commuters from Sweden can return to work in Norway from Monday, the Swedish Prime Minister is not satisfied. He wants a solution for all commuters.

“It is Norway’s responsibility to find a solution for commuters. People can not go on without work,” Löfven said at a press conference on Friday, according to newspaper VG.

On the same day, Löfven met Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H) to discuss the commuter issue.

“It is good that they allowed daily commuters to return but will not be satisfied until they find a solution for all commuters,” Löfven said.

From Monday, daily commuters from Sweden and Finland can return to work in Norway, but they will be subject to a strict corona testing regime.

The control and documentation of testing, residence, and employers will be significantly stricter than before.
