There is still a high demand for health and care personnel in Norway. On average, there have been 9% more new positions compared with the same period last year.

The corona pandemic is the reason why the demand for health and care personnel has been high in 2020, but there is still a high demand for doctors, nurses, and other health personnel, figures from FINN jobb show.

The demand is greatest for doctors, where there are 28% more jobs to choose from, while there are 23% more positions to choose from for nursing jobs.

“An employee’s market”

Positions in the category of health personnel, which include professions such as physiotherapists and chiropractors, have also increased by 23% since last year.

“If you have an education in the health industry and are willing to move, it is definitely the employee’s market,” product director Christopher Ringvold at FINN jobb noted.
