The man in his 30s who the police arrested on the spot is charged with attempted murder.

“We have no doubt that we have arrested the right perpetrator,” police attorney Linda Tengesdal in the Eastern Police District told Moss Avis.

The police were notified of the incident at 10:33 PM on Friday. The stabbing took place inside a hotel in Halmstad in Rygge. Police rushed to the scene with several patrols, a dog patrol, and a police helicopter.
