The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that there are still about 20 Norwegians in Ukraine.
“There are now about 20 Norwegians in Ukraine. As it is voluntary to register, we don’t have a full overview, but the number is slowly declining,” spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ane Lunde, told the newspaper Dagbladet.
On February 11, Norwegian citizens were encouraged to leave the country. The delegation at the Norwegian Embassy is staying in the Polish capital Warsaw.
“We are in constant contact with those who registered, and we give them advice and offer the help they need,” Lunde said.
