The number of confirmed deaths of patients with coronavirus is now around 1.2 million.

At the beginning of October, the WHO estimated that around 780 million people might actually have been infected with the coronavirus.

In Norway, 16,456 cases of infection have been confirmed, out of which 818 cases were reported last week.

A total of 278 coronavirus-related deaths have been registered in Norway since March.
