On Sunday evening, the police in Bergen stopped a party in the center of Bergen with 50 participants. The partying must have lasted for one day.

“It is not often that we experience something like this,” operations manager Tatjana Knappen in the Western Police District told newspaper Bergens Tidende.

According to the national corona rules, people are advised not to be visited by more than five people.

“There were far more people there. At the same time, this is not a regulation that can be followed up with a report. We could only ask them to follow the guidelines set by the authorities,” Knappen said.

The police moved out to the party at around 7:00 PM.

“There were disco lights, a full-on party,” Knappen told newspaper Bergensavisen.
