According to the authorities in Moscow, the Swedish government is making “stupid” statements that are propaganda against Russia.

Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde’s statements that Russia may pose a threat to Sweden and Finland caused a strong reaction from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“These statements are stupid. They are not based on facts, (they’re) propaganda and provocation. They do not represent the interests of the people in these countries but serve the interests of NATO, which is led by the United States,” Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, noted.

More people in Sweden and Finland want to join NATO after Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, NTB writes.
