The Pride parade in Stockholm took place on Saturday after a two-year pandemic break.

Around 50,000 people were expected to participate, with half a million spectators.

Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson was among the participants in the parade on Saturday, and Foreign Minister Ann Linde donned a rainbow-colored outfit for the occasion.

“We show our true colors during Stockholm Pride,” Linde tweeted.

The Pride parade in Stockholm is Scandinavia’s largest parade of this type. It was launched just over a month after Oslo had to cancel its parade due to the shooting on the night of June 25.
