Seven steps on how to get the refugees out into work

Government and social partners have announced a partnership to get more refugees quickly into work, and seven principles have been concretized.
The parties signed a cooperation declaration on what they called a fast track for Refugees job in late May. In an article, they wrote  seven important principles on how to meet the challenge of the big number of asylum seekers who came to Norway last year.
– They took with them not only painful experiences from a disintegrated country . They have knowledge, education, experience, skills, interests and eagerness to get help, writing op-ed authors.
These measures aim at qualifying, look after the Norwegian model, a fast track for those with sought-after expertise, gets Nav earlier, more use of wage subsidies, more language learning in the workplace and that employers must open their doors to outsiders.
– If we succeed in this, more will be able to support themselves and less need for social security. It promotes integration and facilitate a more sustainable welfare state, according to the chronicle, which is signed Labour and Social Affairs Minister Anniken Hauglie (H), Tor-Arne Solbakken LO, Ragnhild Lied Unio, Jorunn Berland in YS, Knut Aarbakke in Akademikerne Svein Oppegaard NHO, Vibeke Hammer Madsen in Virke, Anne-Kari Bratten in Spectrum and Gunn Marit Helgesen in KS.
