Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H) is concerned about the increase of corona infection cases among young people. She is now asking young people to show solidarity to the elderly and other vulnerable groups.

At the government’s press conference on the corona situation on Friday, Solberg expressed concern about the spike in infection cases in recent weeks, especially in the 13 to 19 years age group.

“You too must have as little contact as possible with others, keep a good distance from those you are with, wash your hands well, and stay at home when you are sick,” Solberg said to the youth.

“Remember that we do this in solidarity with those who are older and other vulnerable groups, so that we do not have to have equally strict measures throughout December and that we can celebrate Christmas with those we love,” she added.
