Sweden’s Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia test positive for coronavirus

Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and his wife, Princess Sofia, tested positive for coronavirus, newspaper Expressen reports.

Infection tracing has been initiated after Carl Philip, who is the Swedish royal couple’s only son, tested positive for the coronavirus, Expressen reports.

The couple has mild flu symptoms but is doing well under the circumstances, the Swedish royal family wrote on its website. 

The King, Queen, Crown Princess Victoria, and her husband, Prince Daniel, will now be tested.

On November 19, the Norwegian royal couple and 14 employees at the Royal Court had to go into quarantine after an employee was diagnosed with COVID-19.
