Three men from the “Soldiers of Odin” was Friday night arrested by police in Trondheim.
According to police, it is about one man in 50 years and two men in their 20s who all repeatedly previously patrolled center in uniform, writes Adresseavisen.
– The three have been in contact with us before, and did not take the message back then, says crime guard leader Ole Devle in Trøndelag Police District.
He says the three were brought in and spoke with before they were released. What happens next is up to one of the police lawyers to decide.
It is not known whether the three were brought in for nothing but to be clothed as Soldiers of Odin clothing. The group even claims they will prevent noise and unrest in the streets at night, but police believe they violate the law under Section 26, which prohibits people to take the law into their own hands, writes TV2 news.
– The Police Authority has decided to choose a policy which says that this is a business we do not want in the streets of Trondheim, said operations manager Øystein Sagen in Trøndelag Police District.
Soldiers of Odin is a grouping which is referred to as a vigilante, even if they have previously stated that they are a kind of private night ravens group that wants to ensure that everything goes smoothly for them at night.
