A man in his 50s has been sentenced to ten months in prison in Trøndelag District Court for downloading and sharing images of abuse of children.

In 2016, the man was sentenced to one year and six months in prison for violating section 311 of the Penal Code, which deals with abusive images, Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) writes.

At the time, he was charged with possession of over 400,000 photos and 3,600 videos.

In March last year, he was arrested again. According to the indictment, from January 2019 and in the two following years, he downloaded and shared about 3,000 photos that showed abuse or sexualized depictions of children.
