In the last 24 hours, 1,062 new corona-infected people have been registered in Norway. That is 264 more than the same day last week.
In the last seven days, an average of 1,314 corona infection cases has been registered per day. The corresponding average seven days ago was 937
On Friday, 173 corona patients were hospitalized in the country – two more than the day before.
A total of 215,857 people have tested positive for corona in Norway since the pandemic started. Furthermore, 922 corona-infected people have died since March 2020, according to preliminary figures.
