Update: 1,219 new corona cases have been registered in Norway in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 1,219 corona infection cases have been registered in Norway – 485 fewer than the same day last week.

In the last seven days, an average of 1,186 corona infection cases has been registered per day. The corresponding average seven days ago was 1,428, so the trend is declining.

On Tuesday, 105 corona patients were hospitalized – 22 fewer than the day before. Out of the total, 37 of the patients are in the intensive care unit. Among these, 19 are on respirators, according to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview.

To date, 3,979,353 people in Norway have received the first dose of the corona vaccine, and 3,473,336 people have received the second dose.
